my success story ...
I can remember, that only a short time ago, I was childless. Today I am a VERY proud, happy and one busy Momma. I now have three of the most beautiful PRINCESSES ... my oldest daughter is now "5" and I have two younger toddler daughters , only three months apart! (no that is NOT a typo). Yes, I have three small children!
After "trying" unsuccessfully to get pregnant on our own. We were referred to an infertility specialist. We underwent many tests and they all came back just fine! Leaving us with the "unexplained infertility" title. We did pursue some infertility treatments and we did get pregnant, unfortunately they both resulted in miscarriages.
We decided on private - domestic adoption. How did we come to that decision? After talking with a family friend who had successfully adopted this way. We decided to move forward with adoption and give it our all!
My first daughter's adoption took 9 months (how ironic) from the time we started until the day she was in our arms! It was incredible! When our first Miracle baby turned one we decided to start the process again.
After some disappointment .... We were doubly blessed with two more daughters! We always dreamed of having three children. See DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!! Just when you least expect it ....
I know that having a well thought Adoption Profile filled with feeling was instrumental in my adoption journey's
(profile completed December 2005 their 2nd daughter was in their arms January 2006)
"My husband and I always dreamed of having children, but after three IVF treatments and one ectopic pregnancy we were starting to become unenthusiastic about having any children at all. Until one day a very special person asked us a wonderful question "Would you consider adopting?" We did consider and accepted the process and in two months we were proud parents of our precious baby girl, Kristanna.
Then the old saying of "watch now that you have your baby you will get pregnant right away" became true for us. Unfortunately, that pregnancy was an ectopic also. We were heartbroken once again, but insisted on not giving up on wanting another child. That is when I contacted Britt@adoptionprofileassistance.com to help with our adoption profile.
Working with Britt on our profile was a wonderful experience and extremely easy. It was completed through email and some phone conversations in a timely manner. Britt certainly has a true talent for writing and is gifted with the ability to express the best qualities of people and their families. After I received the Profile you did for us I sent it to my attorney in August . While I was down the shore with my daughter, I got a call saying a birth mother picked us. I was in contact with her from the middle of August and she was due September 23rd. Jake was born soon after.
